We appear before area councils, Land registries and development control to obtain permits for development. For instance, we got approval for a client’s Real Estate Development after a public hearing.

We draft and negotiate agreements between developers, architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. We develop compliant contracts that equitably allocate project risks.

Construction litigation

We represent contractors in disputes over payment claims, change orders, liens, delays, defects, and injuries that arise during projects. Our team of Lawyers enforce contract terms and recover damages for clients.Â

Environmental compliance

We ensure projects comply with environmental regulations around land use, permitting, contamination, habitat protection, and more. For example, we conducted due diligence on several sites at Katampe extension,a highbrow area in Abuja before purchase and development.

We advise homeowners associations and Real Estate companies on governance, rules enforcement, maintenance, disputes, amendments, and statutory compliance. We aim to minimize risks and litigation.

Leasing issues

We negotiate commercial and retail leases on behalf of landlords and tenants. We also resolve disputes related to maintenance, repairs, operating expenses, assignments, and evictions.Â
